1. Confirmation of components
When installing the mechanical seal on the machine, before installation, it is necessary to compare well with the general assembly drawing to confirm whether the parts have been prepared, at this time, pay attention to whether there are scars, defects and other abnormal phenomena such as the sealing friction pair sealing surface, sealing ring, etc., and also pay attention to whether there are scars on the shaft or bushing surface, flange and other parts in contact with the packing and sealing ring (O ring), if abnormal phenomena are found, they must be replaced or repaired before use.
When actually installing, do not bring more parts than needed to the site, so that if there are any remaining parts after installation, it is a place where there is a leakage during installation; If there are not enough parts, it means that the parts are also assembled in unnecessary places, which also plays the role of self-inspection during installation.
